Short Bio:
(Note: This biography only covers a very small portion of Faelar's life -- that is, the point in his life that pertains to him being the Crow God. His full biography can be found on his page here.) [**Turn "here" into a link to my weebly. When I make it. >_> **]
Prior to becoming the Crow God, Faelar lived a very long and eventful life. He came from humble beginnings, and lived the majority of his life on an entirely different world from the one he now lives in. He traveled across the entirety of his home world, gaining knowledge and power, for hundreds of years. When the time was right, he began conquering the world, piece by piece. Eventually, he conquered not only the world, but the gods that ruled it. He was gifted with divine powers, and became strong enough to rival even the oldest of deities. He ruled the world for millennia in this manner before he began to tire of the same old routine. He then set out to begin conquering new worlds, and that is how he came to the world he now inhabits. Like with other worlds, he started out low on the ladder -- with some advantages, due to his unique collection of knowledge, special abilities, and followers -- and worked his way up, using whatever means necessary. Before too long, he became both Master and husband of E.K., making him the King of the World.
In the middle of the world (where the borders of the North, South, East, and West meet), there is a deadly enchanted forest. Rumors of this forest speak of the horrors within, and warn that anyone who enters it (without knowing where they are going) will never come back out. In the middle of this forest is a strange, mystical House, which is home to many unique and fascinating creatures -- many of whom are largely important to the World, whether the World knows it or not. It is in this house that Faelar resides.
One day, a young Crow Demon managed to stumble upon this House, and was (to his surprise) welcomed by people of all different races, despite not knowing where he was or how he had come to be there. It was there that the young Crow attracted the attention of the King -- with his voice. The young Crow sang, as he so loved doing, completely unaware that Faelar was lurking out of sight, watching -- and, more importantly, listening. He immediately became infatuated with the boy and his beautiful voice, and claimed him as his pet. As he spent more time with the newest addition to his collection, he learned of the troubles of the Crow Demons. It was not in his nature to pity others, nor to help them; only to use them for his own gain. However, as with all things in life, there must be a balance -- and in order to keep his Queen happy, there are many times he now keeps his evil intentions hidden, acting much more subtly to reap greater benefits. It would be simple enough to use his abilities to aid the Crows, and this would benefit him in two ways: Firstly, by pleasing his wife and reassuring both her and the other good-aligned creatures in his life that he was changing, and was neither as evil nor as cruel as he had been in the past, and secondly, by endebting an entire race to him. After all, if this young Crow had so much spirit and natural talent, what more could he gain from the rest of the race? It only made sense to help them. However, there was one small complication: Crow Demons breed rapidly, and if he merely wiped out the dragons that plagued them, they would quickly spread and overpopulate their territory. Speaking more with Twister, he learned of their deity's prolonged slumber, and decided that the best course of action would be to speak with him directly.
So the young Crow led the King of the World to the secluded lair of the Crow God, and the tale of the Guide, the Prophet, and the Savior unraveled. The Crow God blessed both Twister and Faelar, passing the mantle on to the latter and making him the new Crow God. Faelar took to the role quickly, using the Crew to reinvent the Crow religion to something more similar to his own, and to spread it throughout the World like wildfire. Both parties reaped mutual benefits from this. Faelar gained more followers, power, respect, and rank, while Twister and his Crew became famous, just like they always wanted.
